Whale Watching

Celebrate the annual arrival of some of the ocean’s most majestic creatures as Phillip Island’s coastal waters play host to humpback and southern right whales and even the occasional killer whale.

The whale watching festival runs from the 11th June to the 11th July which coincides with the first Winter Whale Cruises and the end of the winter school holidays.

The Island Whale Festival Weekend is taking place on 2 – 4 July at various venues across Phillip Island. Visitors will have the opportunity to engage in a range of activities that will not only entertain but also allow you to appreciate the wildlife and natural habitats of Phillip Island and the Bass Coast region.

The festival weekend is set to feature various activities and events, including talks, workshops, whale spotting, whale cruises, comedy dinners and more.
